Summary information on dashboard

The Smart Trading Cloud provides you with a dashboard where you can view summary information about your organization account, such as information about number of users and groups, user registrations, service subscriptions, and so on.

You can invite other Smart Trading Cloud users to your organization account to give them temporary access to your services.

System users

When a user subscribes to any of the Smart Trading Cloud services, Smart Trading Cloud now creates a system user instead of an application user. Smart Trading Cloud does not allow you to delete or deactivate a system user to prevent you from accidentally deleting a user with an active subscription. You can identify system user accounts by the icon against them in the Users listing pane.

Smart Trading Cloud creates system users under Applications user group.

SAML and OIDC Authentication Integration Update

In an effort to simplify the process of setting up SAML or OIDC Authentication for your organization, the option to add the required configuration for each separately registered domain has been deprecated. Now you can integrate your corporate Identity Provider (IdP) once and specify which domains among registered will be using this configuration.

Roles and permissions

The concept of group attributes in user access management is being gradually substituted by a more flexible and easy-to-use role-based approach. Now you can differentiate user access to the Smart Trading Cloud services by adding roles with a specific set of permissions to your user groups.

You can invite other Smart Trading Cloud users to your organization account to give them temporary access to your services.

SAML federation

The Smart Trading Account supports federation with SAML 2.0 compliant identity providers for your account users to sign in to the Smart Trading Cloud services using their corporate credentials. The benefits of this feature are:

• Simplified access for your users, as they do not have to create and remember a new set of credentials,
• Improved security for your organization account, as credentials are sent to a single authentication point (your identity provider),
• Faster user management for account administrators, as this eliminates the need to add new users in the Smart Trading Account manually.

Multi-factor authentication

To enhance the security of your account and the data you work with in Smart Trading Cloud, you can enable multi-factor authentication (MFA). This will require your organization account users not only to enter their user name and password when they sign in to the Smart Trading Cloud services, but also to provide a verification code they receive on their trusted device.

User activity logs

You can track changes to your organization account (such as user account updates, subscription activation/deactivation, changes in the security policy settings, and many more), represented as event records in the Monitoring service.

Improved user interface and usability

The Smart Trading Account's web interface has been completely redesigned to offer administrators a clearer view of their account and user management capabilities and simplify the way the users access and edit their profile details. These enhancements include:

• Application representation consistent with the Smart Trading Cloud product line, with increased viewing space and more relevant options' organization according to typical usage habits, giving account administrators the freedom to manage their organization account and users more effectively.
• My Profile and Your Smart Trading Cloud Applications panes integrated to the navigation bar in all Smart Trading Cloud applications for quicker access to personal profile settings and available Smart Trading Cloud services.

Password policy management

To make your Smart Trading account resistant to cyberattacks and to strengthen the security of your data, you can set the password requirements for the users of your organization. With the Smart Trading Account, you can:

• Set the password complexity and length;
• Determine the number of password changes before one of the previous passwords can be reused;
• Define the frequency of forced password resets to ensure that users change their passwords regularly.

Documentation subscription

With your Smart Trading Cloud account, you can get access to the Smart Trading Help Centers where you can find online tutorials, common tasks, case studies, and other helpful resources on how to work with Smart Trading products. The list of Help Centers is available on the Service Subscriptions tab of the Smart Trading Account.

The way new users join the account has been significantly simplified

New users can easily join the existing organization accounts. If the organization you belong to already exists in the Smart Trading Account system, you join it automatically based on your company email address. An additional authorization step may be required from your account administrator depending on the settings of your organization account.

User groups

The Smart Trading Account's ease of use has been improved. Account administrators can group users with the same roles and access permissions together under user groups, which makes managing process easier.

Group attributes

Account administrators can add attributes to user groups. An attribute is a string value that belongs to a specific (required) user group and its users to provide them with access to a specific URL. This allows administrators to manage access (for user groups) to specific artifacts of a service that has been activated for an organization account.

The user registration interface has been improved.

Edifecs has improved productivity and added the following features.

Service subscriptions

As an administrator, you can manage permissions (enable or disable services) for users of your organization account for them to access the Smart Trading Cloud Services.

Evaluation accounts

You can create a temporary account to test the Smart Trading Cloud Repository capabilities and make your account permanent later. If you stop using this account, it will be disabled after some time.

Account user management (for administrators only)

An administrator can modify the organization account properties, add or remove users from the account, manage user access to the repository, provide them with administrator privileges, and manage registration requests with the ability to provide domain names of users' emails to be registered automatically without administrator's approval.
