Edit Guidelines

Note To enable guideline editing for your account, contact support at support.edifecs.com or, if you are an account administrator, use the request subscription option available when you open a guideline.

With the Guideline Editor of the Smart Trading Cloud Repository, you can edit guideline specifications. With the Guideline Editor, you can perform the following tasks:

• Add, edit, and remove guideline nodes
• Include and exclude nodes
• View and edit general details of nodes
• Add, edit, and remove notes in nodes
• Set guideline properties
• Edit standard code lists and code list properties
• Retrieve a UPath of the required node

Note You cannot edit a guideline concurrently with another user. The guideline remains locked till you save your changes and close the guideline. If you want to edit a guideline that is currently being edited by another user, you can request editing rights. As soon as your request is accepted, you can start editing the guideline. The request is automatically accepted if the user does not respond within a certain timeout.
